ISPC Educational Grant Program
ISPC Educational Grant for the T&D PowerSkills Lineworker Training Program
It is important to all of us at ISPC that everyone in our industry comes home safe and whole at the end of each day. One of ISPC’s core initiatives is to create and provide the powerline industry with new, updated, high-voltage lineworker training programs that reflect current OSHA regulations. In line with this initiative, we recommend and endorse the T&D PowerSkills lineworker training program. T&D PowerSkills is a 78-unit course curriculum, designed to take an individual from a Level 1 Apprentice Lineworker through Journeyman.
Whether you have an established program and are looking for supplemental material, or you are starting from scratch, ISPC may be able to help by providing an educational grant of the complete T&D PowerSkills training program to your school.
Here are the requirements:
Be a non-profit educational institution
Become a member of ISPC at the Educational Level and remain in good standing
Sign a license agreement with T&D PowerSkills
Order 100+ student workbooks from T&D PowerSkills per 12-month period
Agree to brand all posters, flyers, programs, etc. utilizing the course units with the registered trademarks of ISPC and T&D PowerSkills, along with the text “funded by the Institute for Safety in Powerline Construction.”
